Altered “altoids” Tin by Debbie Fisher 5

I love to alter items and this is one of my favorite projects. It is an altered *altoids* tin (actually a different brand, but you get the idea).

The letter “p” is printed backwords onto patterened paper from my computer and then cut out. “my photos” is also printed onto patterned paper from my computer. The paper is by SU! and is discontinued.

This is the tin.

I just made an accordian folded piece of cardstock to fit inside the tin and rounded the corners. I used Tombow’s Mono Adhesive Permanent to adhere the patterned paper to the tins and the edges (just cut thin strips) as well as for adhering all my pieces together for the inside. Because I was using a thinner paper, this adhesive worked perfectly. If I was using a heavier cardstock, I would use Tombow’s Mono Adhesive Power Bond.

This is one side of the accordian fold

and this is the other side.
