Folded Flower Card by Marie Browning 5

Getting ready for CHA Creative Conference October 3rd and 4th in Mississauga, Canada! This is one of the Make & Takes I will be creating for the conference participants. The Mono Multi Liquid Adhesive is again the star in this vintage posy card!

The flower petals are punched out of cardstock with a 2″ circle punch – here I am using  beautiful papers from Bo Bunny. The edges of the circles are colored with the Dual Brush Pens and then folded to create the blossom.

The blossom is put together with the MONO Multi Liquid Glue for an instant and super strong hold.

I also colored a curly stem using a flourish die cut from Sizzix. Fine detailed cuts like the stem are placed on the card using the Dots Adhesive. When applying the adhesive, the dots will only go onto the stem piece for a super hold, even with the fine details, and no excess adhesive to mess up the card. It’s always my first choice when applying fine detailed die cuts, doilies or other fine detailed cardstock or chipboard. The saying panel, from cardstock from Bo Bunny, is adhered to the card with Foam Tabs to give it a little extra dimension.

A very simple but fun card to create! If you are coming to the Creative Conference make sure to stop by the Tombow booth, have a seat and create a card for yourself!
