Music Inspired Wedding Memory Box 3

Music is such an extremely personal thing to most people.  I love how a song can transport you back to a specific place and time or trigger a special memory.  A memory box with special song lyrics on the lid would make the perfect keepsake for a wedding present.

Decoupage the box lid with music sheets using Tombow MONO Aqua Liquid Glue, let dry.  This is the perfect glue for paper crafts because it is water based and dries smooth – no wrinkles or creases.

Create an 8 1/2″ by 8 1/2″ template with plain paper and sketch out your song lyrics with Tombow MONO Drawing Pencil. I selected “all of me loves all of you” by John Legend, since it is my friend’s wedding song.

Transfer your pattern on to the box lid with Tombow MONO Drawing Pencil.  Fill in song lyrics with Tombow Dual Brush Pen #636.

Accent with Tombow Dual Brush Pen #603.  This is where the dual tips on the Tombow Dual Brush Pens come in handy. Use the brush tip for sweeping broad strokes and the bullet tip for fine lines and accents.

Give the Keepsake Box as a wedding gift with a gift card enclosed, then later, the happy couple can fill their memory box with keepsakes from their wedding day.

Thanks for stopping to our week inspired by MUSIC!  -Beth

Our wedding will be out of town and there is very poor Internet service. How can I download music for free to have fun at my wedding?

2 weeks ago I needed to make a playlist for a small event at my friend’s wedding, and I decided to download all the music just in case, so there would be no problems. I found the service Ytmp3, and it’s a very cool solution, because I used to think that all such services either provided terrible quality or paid music downloads. Here, on the other hand, everything is perfect and easy and fast.

I can say that I’m more into classical music, and that’s why I prefer to listen to my music while doing all the things instead of the standard music. Moreover, I discovered an exclusive piano showroom in London and bought a great piano for my house, so now inspiration plays a huge role for me, and classical music helps me with that a lot.
