Hey everyone, It’s Katie here today sharing a free printable with you guys: Crafter inspired postcards that you can print out, color and send to all of your maker friends!
A few months ago I started sketching what I called “crafter doodles.” They were fun little cartoon doodles all about the life of a crafter, basically crafting memes in doodle form. I think we can all relate to them! I designed these colorable postcards inspired by my original Crafter Doodle sketches.

Feel free to print and color as many copies as you want. Spread the maker movement!
Coloring Supplies:
The free download is the completely inked version, but I started the postcards by sketching out the crafter characters with the MONO Drawing Pencil Set. I always start my sketches with pencil before inking them so that I can refine the design until I’m completely happy with it.
Next I inked the designs using Tombow’s NEW MONO Drawing Pens in the 03 and 05 points, erasing my pencils lines with the Black MONO Plastic Eraser (My favorite eraser- I love the black as it never looks dirty!).
Grab your Irojiten Colored Pencils because it’s time to color! I used a variety of the pencils, but mostly used the Fluorescent set. I loved the happy neon colors.
Use contrasting colors between the background and the crafter character for pop art look.
