Three Weekly Spreads For Your Passion Planner

Hi Tombow fans! It’s Mandy from @thebrewtifulword! I’m going to share three weekly spreads you can use in your Passion Planner! One of the funnest parts about planners for me is thinking about a theme to use for my weekly spread. For this project,I have three to share: Floral, Beautiful, and Rainbow.  Let’s take at look!

THEME 1 – FLORAL

For this weekly spread, I thought of my color palette first. I LOVE the colors of dark blue and mustard yellow combined together. It’s one of my favorites! For this spread, I combined those two colors with black and white to give it a more formal look. I chose a washi tape that was also black and white and had florals. Then, I placed it in the planner. I used the Dual Brush Pens to color in flowers and leaves. I then used the bullet tip of my Dual Brush Pens to block out times. This helped break up the days of the week section. I used a white gel pen to letter over the blue blocks. To write out my schedule, I used the MONO Drawing Pen 03. I used Drawing Pen 01 to trace my leaves. Lastly, I used the Hard Tip Fudenosuke Brush Pen to letter out a quote in the bottom right hand corner. I used the bullet tip of Dual Brush Pen 026 to add a shadow.

Here’s a close up!

THEME 2 – BEAUTIFUL

MATERIALS

For this weekly spread, I chose washi tape with hearts in black, white and gold. I then added it to my planner. I used the Power Mini Glue Tape to adhere the die cuts to the planner. These die cuts from Echo Park Paper were perfect for this spread. Next, I used the black tip of my Twin Tip Fudenosuke Brush Pen to letter out a quote on the bottom right corner. I then used the gray tip to add a shadow. Lastly, I used the MONO Drawing Pen 03 to add to my calendar.

PRO TIP: If your washi tape starts to peel or isn’t too sticky, run a strip of adhesive from the Power Mini Glue Tape onto where your washi tape will go and place your washi tape directly over it!

THEME 3 – RAINBOW

MATERIALS

For this rainbow weekly spread, I drew inspiration from fellow Design Team Member Adrienne at @studio80design . She recently created a light prism. It was so gorgeous, I had to recreate it! (you can see that post here: Light Prism ).

Using the full pack of Rainbow TwinTone Markers and a ruler, I created a light prism in the days of the week section. I used rainbow washi tape to add to my planner. Using MONO Drawing Pen 03, I wrote in my schedule. I then used a few different blue TwinTone Markers to draw clouds around each entry. Lastly, I used my TwinTone Markers to letter a rainbow quote in the bottom right corner.
