Mummy’s Wobble by Debbie Fisher 1

Mummys wobble but they don’t fall down. Ü

I have a super cute and easy Halloween gift bag to share with you today for our Anything But a Card week.

I covered a small white paper sack with fun Halloween thememd papers. To start, fold the top down 1″, then adhere a strip of designer paper with Mono Adhesive  Mega Roller. I like using this adhesive roller as I use so much adhesive and it lasts longer before needing to refill and it goes on so smooth! With the folded edge down, punch two holes about 1″ apart in the center. This is where you will thread ribbon through to tie shut.

Now that the top is folded down, you know the size to cut your designer paper for the front of the bag as it will go up to the fold. I like to cut my pieces a little bit smaller so that I can see a bit of the bag around the edges. I also distressed all the designer paper edges with black ink.

I used Frankie and Mummy Maker Clear Set & Mummy’s Favorite (mummy riddle) drawn by artist Tammy DeYoung, along with an Action Wobbles spring for the mummy part of the bag. The Mummy Maker set was designed to use with Inky Antics Triangle Treat Box stamp template, but I just stamped the mummy face onto watercolor paper, colored and blended using the Portrait Dual Brush Pen set and punched with a circle punch.

I layered the face onto patterned paper and then the wobble action behind that. This is then centered onto another circle tha is adhered to the paper bag front. Add a designer paper strip toward the bottom with the mummy riddle and stamp on white for the answer. You could add the answer to the back or to a treat tucked inside.

Here is a quick video showing you how the mummy wobbles on my blog.
